RMHS Drama Club Presents Taming of the Shrew
Three performances start May 5 at Endslow Center.

The Drama Club of Reading Memorial High School will present William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew with three performances starting May 5.
Taming of the Shrew is a comedy, believed to have been written between 1590 and 1592. The main plot depicts the courtship of Petruchio and Katherina, the headstrong, obdurate shrew. Initially, Katherina is an unwilling participant in the relationship; however, Petruchio "tames" her with various psychological torments, such as keeping her from eating and drinking, until she becomes a desirable, compliant, and obedient bride.
The spring show will be held at the William E. Endslow Performing Arts Center at the high school. Friday's opening performance starts at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday's show also at 7:30. Sunday's show is at 2 p.m.
