Ron Rice Named General Manager Of Meadow Brook Golf Club

READING, MA — Ron Rice has accepted the position of general manager of the Meadow Brook Golf Club, the board of governors announced Tuesday.

Rice brings close to 30 years of experience in club management to Meadow Brook, having worked in leadership roles at Ferncroft Country Club, Oakley Country Club and The Harvard Club of Boston.

Rice joins the club in what is expected to be an exciting year. The new clubhouse is on track to open by mid-summer, over a year after the original building was destroyed in a fire.

Rice has experience working with dining, golf, pool and tennis programs. The board said "membership engagement and satisfaction" are hallmarks of his career.

"He comes very highly recommended by members, management and employees from his previous positions," the board said in a statement. "He is excited to work with our teams to ensure a great experience for all Meadow Brook members."
