Start Your Super Bowl Weekend With Radio Roulette

Led by an RMHS grad, band plays at Scoreboard in Woburn on Friday, Feb. 1.

Maybe they knew the Patriots would win, or maybe it was just a little luck. But a local band has the perfect suggestion on how to start your Super Bowl weekend. Come hear them play.

Led by Reading Memorial High school grad Alicia Botticelli-Tarasuk, Radio Roulette will be appearing Friday, Feb. 1 at The Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill in Woburn. Radio Roulette covers a little bit of everything and if you ask nicely may even get you ready for Sunday with Queen's, "We are the Champions."

Botticelli-Tarasuk, a '94 RMHS grad, has lived in Reading her entire life. She was in the Jazz Combo (singers) in high school, played softball, and was a cheerleader. She's now the band's lead singer. Other members of the ban are from Melrose, Chelmsford, Newburyport and Pepperrell. They met doing another band project and decided to go ahead and put together a cover band for functions, weddings, clubs, etc.

"We love doing what we do and enjoy entertaining people" said Botticelli-Tarasuk, whose mother Bobbie has owned Colonial Manor Realty for past 33 years and where she also works. "I love meeting new people."

The band has a website and a Facebook page. It also has a date following the Scoreboard appearance, with a show Feb. 16 at Dos Lobos in North Reading.
