READING, MA – Residents and businesses are informed that, due to a severe winter storm
expected tomorrow, February 9, 2017, Town Offices will be closed for business.

winter storm Niko, expected to drop between 8-12 inches of snow, affecting both am and pm
commutes including periods of whiteout.
The Department of Public Works sent a reminder to residents that rubbish and recycling will be
delayed one day, so that Thursday’s pickup will be on Friday, and the regular Friday collection
will move to Saturday.
In addition, due to impending snow storm, there will a parking ban in effect from 7 am 2-9-17 thru 7 am 2-10-17 per the Chief of Police. No parking on any public streets or way
