Roslindale Home Values Expected to Increase, Says Real Estate Forecasting Company

A real estate forecasting company estimates that Roslindale home values should increase in the next year.

According to Pricing Nation, the average Roslindale home should increase in value by 6.1 percent in the next 12 months, with an average between 4.6 and 8.34 percent. 

Roslindale’s expected increase in home prices is primarily being driven by a 72 percent decrease in home vacancies from December 2011 to December 2012. This decrease in available housing supply drives up prices for homes on the market.

The average home value across the 275 zip codes in the Boston MSA should increase by 1.45 percent during the same time period, according to Pricing Nation.
