These Are the 50 Most Expensive Communities in Mass.
A new report found home prices in the state are on the rise.

Weston, where the average home sells for $1.6 million, is the most expensive community in the state, according to a new report.
The Mcgeough Lamacchia real estate firm ranked the 50 most expensive communities in the Bay State based on home sale prices in the first six months of 2014. Aside from Weston, Wellesley, Lexington, and Brookline all made the top 10.

The report found home prices are on the rise in Massachusetts. The average selling price for a home was $387,818 in June—a 6 percent increase from a year ago.
