2,500 Lose Power In Massive Salem Outage
More than 10 percent of National Grid's customers in Salem lost power Friday morning.
SALEM, MA -- National Grid expects to restore power to 2,581 customers by 12:15 pm Friday, according to the utility's outage map. The outage, which was reported Friday morning, is affecting more than 12 percent of National Grid's 21,330 customers in Salem.
