2014 Salem Fourth of July Events Calendar

Here's a quick run-down of what you can expect from this year's Fourth of July celebration in Salem.

• 4 p.m., Kids' Space opens with free activities including games, prizes, crafts, and face painting. 
• 5 p.m., the Pocket Money Orchestra will gather on the main stage.
• 7:15 p.m., opening ceremonies - Salem Veterans Honor Guard and Salem Boy Scouts Honor Guard. 
• National Anthem by members of the YMCA of the North Shore Glee Club.
• 7:30 p.m., 'Pops' concert featuring the Hillyer Festival Orchestra.
• At 9:15 p.m., fireworks extravaganza by Atlas PyroVision Productions
