Arrows Shot At Several Salem Buildings: Police

Salem police said the incidents have happened at night in both North Salem and South Salem over the past week.

SALEM, MA — Salem police are looking for help from the public as they search for who is responsible for a rash of arrow-shooting incidents across the city in the past week.

Police said they have responded to several calls where arrows were shot into the exteriors of homes or other buildings. They said the arrows were found in both South Salem and North Salem and it is believed they were shot during nighttime hours.

"Although minor property damage has resulted from these incidents, no injuries have been reported," Salem Capt. Fred Ryan said.

Police are asking anyone who has experienced a similar incident at their house or business, and who has yet to report it, to do so at 978-744-1212.
