Date Set For Annual Salem/Peabody Charity Softball Game
Salem City Council will play Peabody City Council in softball next month to benefit Haven From Hunger.
SALEM, MA – Peabody's city councilors will play Salem's city councilors on Friday, Sept. 1, and donate the proceeds to Citizens Inn Haven From Hunger. The first pitch will be thrown out at 6 p.m. at Ross Park/CY Tenney Field on Johnson Street in Peabody.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Hot dogs, hamburgers, water, and soda will be served. This is the fourth annual charity softball game between Peabody and Salem's city councils.
