Dog of the week.

1 year old Henry loves playing fetch while waiting to meet someone just like you.

1 year old Henry recently celebrated his 1st birthday at the Northeast Animal Shelter located in Salem, MA. He enjoyed a slice of cake, played fetch and received many hugs and kisses from all his shelter friends. Henry is searching for a loving home where he can be your one and only dog. When Henry was a puppy a big dog attacked him, his fear is understandable. Henry becomes anxious while in a car and will panic when harness to a seatbelt. However, Henry is doing well with leash training and consistently sits when given the cue. He really enjoys using his nose to find hidden treats and does well during his training classes. Henry is searching for a home and family that will be willing to continue working with him in order to help him be comfortable and be the best fellow he can be.

Henry is up to date with vaccines and has been neutered. If you are interested in meeting Henry or finding out more information on how he might fit into your lifestyle you can call the shelter at 978-745-9888 or visit the Northeast Animal Shelter. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday 10-8 and weekends 10-6. For information on how to adopt visit the shelter website @www.neas.org
