Latest Salem Water Main Break Hits Horton Street On Friday

SALEM, MA —Salem residents were dealing with another water main break on Friday with the latest one occurring on Horton Street.

The Salem Department of Public Works said residents and businesses in the area may experience low water pressure, interruption of service or brown water until the break is repaired.

Salem DPW said it expected crews to continue working on the break into the afternoon.

This is the second water main break in four days in the city after there was a disruption in the area of Loring Hills Avenue near the Swampscott line on Tuesday.
