Local Legislators Join in 18th Annual March for Meals Event

Elder Services Merrimack Valley & North Shore Hosting Local Legislators for March for Meals event

Danvers, MA 01923 – In celebration of March being Nutrition Month, Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore would like to announce their participation in the national “March For Meals” awareness campaign, along with Meals on Wheels providers all across Massachusetts and the nation.

Elder Services will host 3 events on the following dates:

  1. Salem Mayor Kimberly Driscoll will accompany Meals on Wheels drivers to deliver meals
  2. Massachusetts State Senator Joan Lovely will accompany Meals on Wheels drivers to deliver meals
  3. Marblehead Town Manager, Jason Silva, Director of the Council on Aging, Lisa Hooper, along with members of the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor, and Marblehead Mothers’ Co-op will accompany Meals on Wheels drivers to deliver meals
