Locked Out, Lots Of Arrests: Salem Police Log

Locked out on the first day, yelling, and more from the Salem Police log.

  • Police responded to Derby Square last Wednesday around 10 a.m. on a report of a man yelling.
  • Stephen Gary Mounsey Jr., 30, of Salem, was arrested on charges of not having an inspection sticker, driving with a suspended license, and driving an unregistered car after a traffic stop in the area of Bridge Street last Thursday around 2 p.m.
  • The Salem Fire Department assisting two residents who had locked themselves out of their High Street residence last Thursday around 6:30 p.m. while moving in.
  • Steven Gonzalez, 18, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of distributing a class A drug, possession with intent to distribute a class A drug, possession with intent to distribute a class B drug, and a drug violation near a school or park. Police made the arrest during a plain clothes patrol on Lafayette Street last Thursday around 9 p.m. Jennifer L. Brown, 31, of Salem, was also arrested on charges of possession of a class A drug.
  • William P. Hart III, 31, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon last Thursday around 8:30 p.m. after police were called to Hillside Avenue.
  • Steven Robert Havey, 41, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of a state highway traffic violation and drunken driving after a car accident on North Street on Saturday around 4:30 p.m.
  • John P. Joyce, 46, of Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, and a warrant. John Thomas Shairs, 48, of Salem, was also arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, furnishing a false name or SSN, disorderly conduct, and a warrant on Saturday.
  • Sequoia Martin, 22, of Lynn, and Demetri A. Underwood, 25, of Salem were arrested on charges of drunken driving after a car accident near Leavitt Street on Sunday around 1 a.m.
  • Shannon Kidney, 24, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, negligent driving, and a marked lanes violation on Saturday.
  • Zeferino Kincade, 46, of Revere, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, possessing an open container of alcohol in a car, driving with a suspended license, and a warrant on Monday.
  • David Wayne Brazil, 59, of Hot Springs, AK, was arrested on charges of carrying a firearm without a license, and possessing ammunition without an FID on Thursday.
