A Love Letter To Rob From Kimberly

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Kimberly Young's love letter to her special someone, Rob:

To Rob,

Without you, I’m not entirely sure that I would exist. Not in that cheesy, “I can’t live without you” sort of way. Before you came along, I felt like I was nothing; like I was just here to take up space that could belong to someone more worthy. Then you made me see differently. You made me believe that I am someone who is worth loving. Whatever gifts you give me through the rest of our lives together, nothing will ever compare to that one.

But I don’t love you just because of what you’ve done for me; I love you because of you. All the pain of my past seems so much more bearable because now I know that it was all just preparation so I could recognize a true prize when I saw it, and you are that prize.

You pride yourself on working hard, so I know that you’ll work hard for us every day for the rest of our long lives together. And I can’t wait to live every blessed day of it.
