SALEM- Mr. Maximo Calderon Jr. 44, of Salem, died unexpectedly, Thursday, June 30, 2016.

Born in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of Maximo DeJesus Calderon and Carmen Taveras de Calderon. He was raised and educated in New York and Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1991.
Maximo had a deep passion for automobiles and sports cars and made his life's passion his profession, by becoming an automotive salesman.

With a great sense of humor and vivacious personality Max Rock as he was affectionately known endeared himself to all. He was always the life of the party and will be remembered for his big inviting smile and his great sense of humor. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was truly a fine handy man fixing anything easily, yet his true passion was for cars. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Maximo is survived by his daughters, Veronica, Vunai, Vivian and Desiree Calderon, his sons, Gabriel, Issac, Isaih and Aiden Calderon, his 4 grandchildren, Jayden, Enrique, Antonio and Victoria, his parents Maximo DeJesus Calderon and Carmen Taveras deCalderon, his siblings, Maria, Eladio, Lorenzo, Roberto, Marisol, Jackie and MarcoCalderon, his children's mother, Fatima Santiago, Judy Gonzalez and Pedroxia Manon and many extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, Thursday, July 7th at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours in The O'Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem, Wednesday, July 6th from 6 to 8 P.M.
