Mayor Driscoll are you sure we are ready for Pot Sales?

If you have been reading along at home, Pot sales is about to happen in Salem. You may also know that Leicester, Massachusetts residents are already up in arms about the crazy traffic that has brought travel in their town to a near standstill. They have had emergency meetings on the subject, recreational pot is a hot ticket, and everyone wants some.

The good news is that the ATG (Alternative Therapies Group) building is located just outside of town leaning towards Peabody, MA on Grove Street. This is right next to the Family Center run by the Moose Lodge of Salem. This will undoubtedly become a talking point at a future town hall meeting I am betting.

Every October we have an influx of traffic and tourism for Halloween. This comes primarily on the weekends and is sadly weather dependent. The better the weather the better the tourism. I really think it is up to Mayor Driscoll and city planners to have a backup plan started now rather than later before everything traffic in Salem goes up in smoke.
