Medford Firefighters Battle Early Morning Garage Fire
Firefighters Local 1032 said there were no injuries and they were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby homes on Sherwood Road.
MEDFORD, MA — Medford firefighters battled a garage fire on Sherwood Road early Saturday morning.
The Medford Firefighters Local 1032 said four engines and two ladders responded to the fire in a detached, two-car garage. They arrived to find the fire well-involved with heavy smoke coming from the garage.
They said they were able to prevent it from spreading.

"The fire was put out quickly put out and surrounding exposures were protected," the union said.
There were no reported injuries.

Engines 1, 6, 4, and 2 along with Ladders 1 and 2 responded early this morning to a structure fire on Sherwood Rd. The structure, a detached two-car garage, was fully involved upon arrival.
