Proctor's Ledge Clean Up On Saturday
Keep Salem Clean will host a clean up event at Proctor's Ledge on Saturday.
SALEM, MA – If you're looking to give back to the community, Keep Salem Clean will hold a clean up at Proctor's Ledge in anticipation of the new memorial on Saturday.
The clean up begins at 9 a.m. and will go to 1 p.m. According to the Facebook event, volunteers should meet at the Walgreens on Boston Street, and bring trash bags, gloves, rakes, brooms, and other handheld gardening tools.
The city is scheduled to formally dedicate the Proctor's Ledge memorial on July 19. The memorial is meant to honor the victims of the Salem Witch Trials who perished in 1692.
