PZA Gourmet Pizza is now open
Pizza Place opens near Salem State University on Lafayette Street
If you use the internet like I do, When I first googled PZA pizza I was brought to https://pzapizza.com/locations... which lists pizza places located in airports and motorways. I can say that is nice having a pizza place on this corner again at 331 Lafayette Street. I was eager to try PZA and I did what any former New Yorker would do, I ordered a calzone. I figured its a better measure of a pizza restaurant. I had the Chicken, Spinach and Feta and it was delicious. The sauce that came to dip with it was also very good. They have pre packaged brownies for dessert and the one I had was pretty good also.
When I walked into PZA I liked the setup, the seating area, the TV monitors and what looked like beer taps. The taps are for atomic cold brew coffee however. I'm pretty sure since The Salem State President occupies the top floor of 331 Lafayette , maybe selling beer on property isn't a possibility, but I am always hopeful.
