SALEM, MA — Richard F. Fubel, age 52, of Salem, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2016.
Richard enjoyed his home and the wonderful community in Salem. He often walked downtown and went kayaking on Collins Cove by his house. He loved the outdoors and spent countless hours hiking, cycling, paddling, and cross country skiing. He also enjoyed photography, travelling, and spending time with his two cats. He loved cooking and exploring the cuisine of many cultures.
Richard was the cherished son of Flora “Elaine” (Grenier) Fubel and the late Herbert R. Fubel of Tewksbury, dear brother of Robert Fubel & his wife Debora of Tewksbury, Michelle Douglass & her husband J.D. of Seattle, WA and Joseph Fubel & his wife Molly of Winchester, loving uncle of Caroline, Maggie, Sarah, Myles and the late Jessica Fubel.

Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Richard’s Life at Waxy O’Connor’s, 94 Hartwell Ave., Lexington, MA 02421, on Monday, September 5th at 11:00 a.m.
