Salem To Break Ground On Community Life Center In September
Salem is scheduled to break ground on the Mayor Jean A. Levesque Community Life Center in September.
SALEM, MA – The City of Salem will officially break ground on the Mayor Jean A. Levesque Community Life Center on Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. The center will mark the start of National Senior Center Month, and the start of work on the project site.
According to Mayor Kim Driscoll's State of the City address, delivered in January, the new senior center is expected to open in summer of 2018 at the corner of Boston and Bridge Street.
