Salem Community Cleanup Challenge This Friday

Whoever collects the most trash with Youth Get to the Point Day wins!

SALEM, MA – Join Marblehead-based nonprofit SPUR on Friday, April 21, as they participate in the North Shore Community Development Coalition's Youth Get to the Point Day, clearing trash from a Salem neighborhood.

Youth Get to the Point Day is a day of service and collaborative work on community revitalization projects throughout the Salem Point neighborhood.

This year, they will be adding a fun twist, a Community Cleanup Challenge. The team with the most trash collected wins. The service activity will end approximately 2:30 p.m. followed by an optional time of music, free pizza and activities.
