SALEM, MA —The North Shore Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth is joining with The Salem Pantry to collect non-perishable items this holiday season to help Salem families experiencing food insecurity.

Items will be collected outside of the old Salem cinema on Church Street on the next three Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m.

Those donating are encouraged to put the items in their trunk and a staff member will unload them in a drive-thru system. NAGLY Executive Director Steve Harrington will be out front dressed in a turkey costume all three days.
