Salem Gets A Floating Tiki Bar
In addition to a bar and onboard bathroom, the boat features mechanical macaws that chirp tiki phrases at patrons.

SALEM, MA — A Salem couple's side hustle is bringing a floating tiki bar to Salem harbor. For $30, up to six passengers can take a 90-minute cruise on the 15- by 21-foot boat Scott and Karen Paszkowski bought earlier this year and spent the summer outfitting. In addition to a bar and onboard bathroom, the boat features mechanical macaws that chirp tiki phrases at patrons.
The Paszkowski plan to offer cruises through Oct. 31 through Tiki Hut Boats, their side business. Even Salem mayor Driscoll seemed excited about the latest business to hit Salem:
It's 5 o'clock somewhere...congrats to the newest tour operators in Salem who are bringing a bit of the Caribbean to Salem Harbor! Check out this link for more info on Tiki Time in Salem. https://t.co/OyTw9nJqKR pic.twitter.com/mIivhkSpow
