Salem High Coronavirus Testing Site Suspended Due To Tuesday Rain

While the Salem High location is closed Tuesday due to weather, testing will take place at Old Town Hall.

SALEM, MA — While coronavirus testing was suspended for one day at Salem High due to Tuesday's rain, Old Town Hall remained open for testing.

Testing at Old Town Hall takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. as well as Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Testing is expected to resume at Salem High on Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. for the regular schedule of 2 to 6 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

No proof of insurance or citizenship is required. This is a nasal swab test from Fallon Ambulance and processed at the Broad Institute Library.

Tests are returned within 36 hours. Those who have been tested, and have not received results within 36 hours, can call 617-745-2100 Ext. 513.
