Salem High To Graduate On The Common, Outdoor Prom Planned
Salem High graduating seniors will be allowed two guests for the outdoor ceremony scheduled for June 4.
SALEM, MA — Graduating seniors will get to enjoy all the pomp and circumstance of a ceremony on Salem Common, as well as likely an outdoor prom, to cap off an unprecedented high school experience for the class of 2021 amid the coronavirus health crisis this spring.
As part of a list of senior events released this week, the school said each senior will have two guests allowed for the outdoor graduation on June 4 at 6 p.m. The district said it is also pursuing plans for an outdoor prom on June 3 to help mitigate coronavirus concerns.
The Senior Awards Night will be held virtually on May 25.
