Salem Jazz And Soul Festival Announces 2017 Lineup

The festival will kick off on Saturday, Aug. 19.

SALEM, MA – New bands and old favorites will grace the stage at the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival this year at the Salem Willows. This will be the festival's 11th season, which kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 19, and ends Aug. 20.

According to a post on the city website, resident only parking zones will be strictly enforced, and parking at the Salem Willows is expected to be scarce. The Salem Police Department will be on scene ticketing and towing illegally parked cars. The Salem Trolley will run a shuttle from 12 to 8 p.m. that weekend from Shetland Park.

The Salem High School Jazz Band will lead the schedule with a performance from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, followed by accomplished pianist Anibal Cruz from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
