Salem Kicks Off Summer Eats Program

Free breakfasts and lunches, and Monday dinners, will be available to students in need throughout the city this summer.

SALEM, MA — Salem Public Schools will be offering free meals throughout the summer to any student in the city in need of one.

The Salem Summer Eats Program began this week and will continue through Aug. 20 at most locations.

Bates Elementary School on Liberty Hill Avenue will have to-go breakfasts and lunches from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.

Carlton School on Skerry Street will have breakfasts and lunches beginning July 6 on Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon through Aug. 5.

Collins Middle School on Highland Ave. will have breakfasts and lunches from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.

Horace Mann School on Wilson Street will have breakfasts and lunches from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.

Saltonstall School on Lafayette Street will have breakfasts and lunches from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.

Mary Jane Lee Park on Palmer Street will have dinner on Mondays from 4 to 6 p.m. from July 12 through Aug. 16.

Salem Heights on Pope Street will have breakfasts and lunches from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.

Rainbow Terrace on Loring Ave. will have breakfasts and lunches from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.

Loring Tower on Loring Avenue will have breakfasts and lunches from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 20.
