Salem Loses An Italian Restaurant

SALEM, MA — Firenze Trattoria, an Italian restaurant specializing in Tuscan cuisine, has closed, according to a post on its Facebook page. The restaurant had been open at 2 Lynde Street since 2013. The Facebook post did not give a reason for why Firenze Trattoria had closed.

In another Facebook post, Firenze Trattoria said customers with gift cards can cash them in for a full refund or use them at a new restaurant, which Chef Aaron Chambers plans to open in the same location in a few weeks. Chambers most recently worked at Bar Boulud in Boston.
