Salem To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Hamilton-Wenham
The Witches take on the Generals in the first round of the football tournament.
SALEM, MA – Salem heads to the MIAA Football North Division 6 tournament, taking on undefeated Hamilton-Wenham Oct. 28 at 1:30 on the road.
The Witches, seeded eighth with a 4-3 record, will kick off the tournament against the first-seeded Generals, who enter the tournament with a 7-0 record.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
