Salem Police To Host Rabies Vaccination Clinic
The Veterinary Association of the North Shore will run the clinic set for June 2 at the police station.
SALEM, MA —Salem residents whose dogs and cats are due for rabies vaccinations will have the chance to get a one at the police station early next month.
Salem police will host the clinic for dogs and cats only on June 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. The Veterans Association of the North Shore will run the clinic. Cost is $10 (EDITOR'S NOTE: This is a change from an earlier version of this post.).
Animal Control Officer Don Famico will oversee the clinic at the rear of the police station on Margin Street.

Residents are asked to bring all past vaccination certificates to receive a three-year vaccination. Otherwise, a one-year vaccination will be administered.
Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier.

Humans must wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
