Salem Police Log: Bike Fight, Good Samaritans
Some items from the Salem Police log this week.

- John Sahille Lazare, 18, of Salem, was arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property last Thursday.
- Cesar J. Luga, 54, and Samuel J. Nieves-Lebron Jr., 37, both of Salem, were arrested on charges of trafficking cocaine last Thursday.
- Luke Cuoco, 24, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of negligent driving and drugged driving last Friday.
- Police responded to a neighbor dispute on Howard Street on Saturday around 3 p.m. after someone allegedly parked in a reserved parking spot. Officers were able to settle the issue.
- Two citizens helped care for a dog in the area of North and School streets on Saturday around 3 p.m., thinking it had been hit by a car. Police determined the dog wasn't hit by a car, but did have an issue with its back legs. Officers took the dog to Northeast Animal Shelter for treatment, and the owners were found.
- Connor A. Mccarthy, 25, of Gloucester, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and leaving the scene of property damage last Saturday around 9 p.m. after police responded to New Liberty Street.
- Thomas R. Mcmahon, 35, of Salem, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault last Saturday around 9 p.m. after police responded to a report of assault on Essex Street.
- Police responded to a report of a dispute involving a bike on the Salem Common on Sunday around 2 p.m.
- Yailinis Dayanara Contreras, 20, of Peabody, was arrested on charges failing to drive within the marked lanes, not having a license in possession, and possession of a class B drug last Sunday around 8 p.m. Steven Gonzalez, 18, of Peabody, and Gina Osterman, 19, of Salem, were also arrested on charges of possession of a class B drug after police saw crack cocaine in the car during a traffic stop in the area of Tremont Street, according to the police log.
- Aaron Collins, 27, of Salem, was arrested on charges of possession of a class A drug on Monday around 10 a.m/ after police responded to Congress Street.
