Alleged Cocaine, Heroin Dealer Arrested on Congress Street

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:Â
Friday, April 25:Â
- At 4:54 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Bridge Street.
- At 5:06 p.m., police responded to a past shoplifting incident at New England Magik. The owner told police he had video surveillance of a customer stealing a $500 rainbow obsidian black crystal ball.Â
- At 5:19 p.m., an officer disposed of a hypodermic needle discovered on Bridge Street.
- At 6:04 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Washington Street. Tino L. Hem, 20, of the streets of Lynn, was arrested on charges of public consumption of marijuana and a charge of illegally possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute. K9 unit Turbo assisted with the arrest.
- At 6:18 p.m., police made an arrest on Lafayette Street. Wyatt L. Paige, 34, of 293 Lafayette st., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
- At 6:49 p.m., police executed a search warrant on Congress Street. Marvin C. Lambert, 23, of 86 Congress St., Salem, was arrested on two counts of illegally possessing a class A substance (heroin) with intent to distribute in a school zone and two counts of illegally possessing a class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute in a school zone.
- At 8:15 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Charter Street.
- At 8:30 p.m., police responded to a bomb threat at the Walmart on Highland Avenue.
- At 8:59 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at the Market Basket on Highland Avenue. Tommy P. Sisson, 37, of 14 Heritage Drive, Salem, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
- At 8:59 p.m., police made an arrest on Highland Avenue. Joshua A. Smith, 24, of 13 Harbor St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
- At 10:07 p.m., police responded to a dispute between roommates on Flint Street.
- At 11:23 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on East Collins Street.Â
- At 1:09 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Liberty Hill Avenue.
- At 1:31 a.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Hazel Street.
- At 6:16 a.m., police responded to a past hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Union Street.
- At 10:34 a.m., police responded to a past break-in at a home on Di Pietro Avenue.
Kristopher E. Shinney, 29, of 49 Village St., Marblehead, was arrested on a charge of illegally possessing a class B substance (x) and for reportedly violating the city's knife ordinance.
