Salem Police Make Warrant Arrest on Highland Avenue

Tuesday, May 27:
- At 5:02 p.m., police responded to a skateboarding complaint on Colonial Road.
- At 5:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious package on Pratt Street.
- At 5:59 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Nimitz Way.
- At 6:22 p.m., police responded to a report of past threats on Highland Avenue.
- At 7:32 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Lafayette Street.
- At 7:33 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at The Family Dollar on Canal Street.
- At 7:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a bike stolen from a rack at the MBTA station on Bridge Street.
- At 9:01 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Broad Street.
- At 9:28 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Lafayette Street.
Wednesday, May 28:Â
- At 12:18 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Summer Street.
- At 1:16 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Loring Avenue.
- At 1:54 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Cross Street Court.
- At 5:57 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Charter Street. Renee D. Morse, 50, of 11 Hartford St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
- At 6:43 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Essex Street.
- At 9:57 a.m., police made an arrest on Federal Street. Daniel J. Doherty III, 55, of 27 Charter St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
- At 10:44 a.m., police made an arrest on Highland Avenue. Kenneth A. Sutton, 38, of 11 Beacon St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
- At 12:04 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Circle Hill Road and Rockdale Avenue.
- At 12:59 p.m., an officer disposed of two hypodermic needles discovered on Highland Avenue.
- At 1:25 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of First Street and Whalers Lane.
Gener A. Gonzalez, 19, of 40 Park St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of violating the city's knife ordinance and for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
