Salem Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealers on Washington Street

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:Â
Monday, May 19:
- At 3:14 p.m., police responded to a report of two unleashed dogs on Kernwood Street. The owner was fined $100 for failure to leash their log in a public park.
- At 3:35 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Prince Street.
- At 5:44 p.m., a man entered the police station to report that his cat was attacked by a dog on Chandler Street and had to later be put down because of the injuries. This investigation is ongoing.
- At 5:50 p.m., police responded to a report of baby ducks stuck inside a sewer grate on Circle Hill Road. The ducks were later released to their mother.
- At 6:47 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Summer Street.
- At 9:15 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle near the intersection of Butler and Rawlins streets. Ricardo Angel, 49, of 23 Tracey st., Peabody, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
- At 9:32 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rainbow Terrace.
- At 11:13 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle stuck on a traffic island near the intersection of Bridge and North streets. Rafael A. Vasquez, 51, of 10 Elliot Place, Peabody, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, third offense, operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating while under the influence of alcohol, subsequent offense and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
- At 11:22 p.m., police responded to a report of a downed tree in the street on Loring Avenue.
Tuesday, May 20:Â
- At 6:16 a.m., police responded to a report of a man sleeping on the sidewalk on Hazel Street.
- At 6:41 a.m., police responded to a roll-over accident on Loring Avenue. A man told police he swerved to avoid hitting a dog and ended up in the woods.
- At 7:11 a.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Grove Street.
- At 10:22 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Federal Street.
- At 11:51 a.m., police responded to a report of past harassment on Linden Street.
- At 11:55 a.m., police responded to a report of a stolen car on Beaver Street.
- At 12:56 p.m., police responded to a medical overdose on Palmer Street.
- At 1:25 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Washington Street after noticing suspicious behavior. Tyler M. Ferrier, 21, of 30 Evans Road, Peabody, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class C substance with intent to distribute in a school zone. Carole M. Mahoney, 47, of 15 Circle Hill Road, Salem, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class C substance with intent to distribute in a school zone.
- At 4:20 p.m., police responded to a report of stolen wallet on Congress Street.Â
