Salem Police Station To Host 13th Annual Turkey Drive

The "It Starts With Me" turkey and holiday food drive will be Wednesday night, Nov. 18, on Margin Street.

SALEM, MA — Those looking to help those who need a little support enjoy a nice Thanksgiving amid the coronavirus health crisis are asked to drop off a turkey or other traditional holiday foods at the "It Starts With Me" turkey drive on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

"Albeit a little different this year we are still committed to collecting as much food as possible to help those families in need," Salem police said.

The 13th annual drive will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in front of the police station on Margin Street. The goal is to fill at least one cruiser full of food to be deliver to the charity.

Items of need are: squash, canned corn, butter, rolls, pie, stuffing, boxed desserts, juice, turkey tin roasting pans, boxed cereal, coffee and soup.
