SALEM, MA — Those looking for one of the best brunches in America need look no further than Washington Street in Salem.
Ledger Restaurant & Bar was one of three spots in the state to crack Open Table's list of 100 Best Brunch Restaurants In New England.
Ledger joins The Aviary Restaurant & Bar in Swansea and Buttermilk & Bourbon in Boston for the best in french toast, chicken and waffles and brunch staple eggs benedict, among other treats that fit deliciously in between the worlds of breakfast and lunch.

"We're super eggcited to be on The 100 Best Brunches in America!" the Ledger posted on its Facebook page.
The collaboration of chef/owner Matt O'Neil and executive chef Daniel Gursha offers "a progressive New England concept, where traditional 19th-century dishes, cocktails, and techniques will be elevated with 21st-century resources."

Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays with seating both indoors and outdoors this spring. Reservations can be made here and you can check out the selection of dishes and specialty cocktails here.
Celebrity chef Jason Santos is the owner of Buttermilk & Bourbon and also the B&B Fish location Marblehead.
