Salem Santa Moves To The Park For 2020

Due to coronavirus concerns, the annual Santa Breakfast is canceled, but socially distanced photos can be taken in the Salem Common Gazebo.

SALEM, MA — Santa Claus will still be on duty in Salem taking photos and Christmas requests from city children — he will just be moving locations to keep everyone safe during the coronavirus health crisis.

Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services said that the traditional breakfast with Santa will be canceled this year, but will be replaced with "Santa in the Park."

Due to predicted rain and possible snow, Santa in the Park has been postponed until Dec. 12.
