Salem Scooter Rider Dies From Injuries In Fort Avenue Crash
Salem police said the 28-year-old crashed his motorized scooter into a sidewalk Saturday night and later died from his injuries.
SALEM, MA — A 28-year-old Salem man died from injuries suffered in a motorized scooter accident on Fort Avenue Saturday night.
Salem police said at about 7 p.m. responding officers found the man, who had crashed his scooter into the sidewalk and had been thrown from the vehicle.
Police said he was taken to North Shore Medical Center where he later died.

The Massachusetts State Police accident reconstruction team and Salem police are investigating the crash.
