Salem Water Main Break Disrupts Service, Traffic At Highland Ave.
The Salem Department of Public Works said a 16-inch main ruptured and that traffic delays should be expected Friday morning.

SALEM, MA — Some Salem residents woke up to no water, while others experienced morning travel delays, as crews attended to a water main break on Highland Avenue.
The Salem Department of Public works said a 16-inch main broke early Friday morning and service was shut off on Highland Avenue from Mooney to Pep Boys, and on First Street from Highland Avenue to Traders Way.
"Traffic will be impacted this morning, anticipate delays," Salem DPW announced.
