Salem Water Main Break on Highland Avenue

SALEM, MA — Crews were working to fix a water main break in the area of Highland Avenue in Salem Monday morning.

Salem Department of Public Works responded to the break near First Street, including Witchcraft.

Residents in the area were told to expect low water pressure, brown water or loss of water until the leak is fixed.

Those experiencing discolored water were asked to not to turn on the hot water and instead run cold water until it clears.
