Hocus Pocus 2: Sanderson Sisters Officially Returning To Salem
Disney Plus made the long-planned project official this week with a 2022 expected air date on the network.

SALEM, MA — Nearly 30 years after the Sanderson Sisters first wreaked havoc in Salem, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will be back on screen reviving their original roles in Hocus Pocus 2.
Disney Plus made it official this week that most of the original cast will be returning for the long-awaited sequel in which three young women accidentally revive the Sanderson Sisters to modern-day Salem. The sisters' hunger for children has not subsided, so they must be stopped before the city is thrown into a tizzy.
The sequel will play off of how much the city — and society — has changed since the sisters last ran "amok, amok, amok" in the Witch City in 1993.

Or, 300 years in witch years.
During October, fervent fans of the cult classic took to driving around Salem looking for the "Max and Dani House" to celebrate Halloween as they were told to stay away from downtown Salem because of coronavirus restrictions.
