In an email message received yesterday SPIN scooters has suspended business in Salem, MA over what they call negotiations with the city over scooter parking. I cam tell you that I was unable to find parking when I rode from Salem State area down to the Lobster Shanty. There were 10 parked outside Adriatic but I could not disengage mine there. I had to walk mine over to "The Derby" to turn mine off. Spin credited me the entire ride but apparently this was a much bigger issue.
Spin also was being used by unlicensed drivers, and folks not wearing helmets which also seems to be a rule of the road that was also not enforced. Kids were blazing all over town many under aged. Perhaps all of this should also be talked about before going for a SPIN resumes.
