SHS O*N*S*T*A*G*E presents Sister Act

This weekend, Salem High School's drama department is excited to present their production of Sister Act!

One of the highlights of the school year at Salem High School is always their musical production. This year, they are putting on Sister Act, an hilarious show featuring mischief, mayhem, love, redemption, and of course, sisterhood.

Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and a moving story, this show will leave the audience dancing in their seats.

When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier (played by Senior Brielle Blood), needs to be put in protective custody, she finds herself in a word very different from the night clubs she is used to... a convent! How does she survive in this strange new world? Deloris finds Mother Superior (played by Junior Sarah Duffy) less than welcoming, but still manages to work her way into the sisterhood through the power of music. Not only is she able to help transform the fate of the convent and church, but she changes the lives of all the sisters as well.
