Soc's Opens Salem Ice Cream Shop
Soc's Ice Cream, which has been a Saugus fixture for decades, is offering 14 flavors at Lobstah On A Roll in a Salem.
SALEM, MA —After 40 years in Salem, Soc's Ice Cream has decided to expand. The popular, homemade ice cream stand opened a shop July 3 inside Lobstah On A Roll in Salem. The Salem location will offer 14 of the 38 homemade flavors it offers in Saugus.
According to the Salem Advertiser, which first reported this story, the Saugus location is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Sharon Cacciola, wife of Soc's owner Paul Cacciola is managing the Salem location.
