Your Salem Patch Mayor has been rolling all month for kids Cancer
Almost done only 40 some miles to go

Covid 19 pushed back this years #GCC2020 ride which was a blessing with cooler temperatures in September then June of course. My fundraising surpassed my ask and I will finish strong this weekend. Not bad for a soon to be 59 year old.
What have you been doing to bust out of your Covid bubble to help others?
To see my progress please see my link. Wave if you see me in my 2020 fundraising blue and Orange jersey. I bet you may have already seen me. I was even on a billboard in times square, well for 15 seconds of course.

The miles are counting down but tonight’s ride was special. It was warmer first off. The second thing was that a pick up truck rolled up alongside me and I always give way and usually wave them on. This person was persistent however and rolled down his window. I thought I was going to get flipped off, but he wanted to thank me for riding for kids cancer. He had survived it as a child. It was a random act of kindness and he made this years ride that much more memorable. Thanks also for restoring my faith in humanity I needed that.
