3 People Hospitalized Following Serious Crash In Seekonk

SEEKONK, MA — Three people were hospitalized following a serious crash on Route 6 westbound in Seekonk Tuesday afternoon, reported WPRI.
The four-vehicle crash took place at approximately 1 p.m. between At Home and Not Your Average Joe's.
Two of the vehicles sustained extensive damage, said Seekonk Police Captain Matthew Jardine, and a white van ended up on its side after appearing to have slammed into the rear end of a car.

Three out of the five people involved in the crash suffered from serious injuries, but are expected to be ok.
No further information has been released and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
