Crash In Seekonk Leaves Florida Man Dead
The car drove off the left side of the highway, into the median and hit a tree.
SEEKONK, MA — A crash on I-95 Eastbound in Seekonk left a Florida man dead. The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday when a Mercedes drove off the side of the highway and hit a tree, catching fire.
The driver, Michael Keefe, 60, of Sarasota, Fla., was ejected from the car on impact. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two left lanes were closed during the crash investigation and reconstruction. All lanes were opened at about 9:49 p.m. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
