On July 30th we lost my brother in law Dave Richard in a tragic turn of events. Dave has been in a Boston hospital for the last 6 weeks with fungal meningitis. What started out as just some confusion quickly turned into severe confusion, hallucinations and not knowing who anyone was. He was immediately started on treatment and they doctors said they were hopeful for a full recovery .

Tragically yesterday morning his blood pressure dropped and he took a turn for the worst. He was rushed into ICU where my sister was called in the middle of the night to come say her goodbyes. By his bedside the nurses painted his hand to make a hand print canvas and recorded his heart beat , Items that his children are left holding onto as they ask what are we going to do without dad?
We lost a good man at around 1:20 PM on July 30th, 2019
Dave leaves behind his parents, family ,4 adult children , 4 minor children and a wife Krista who is also battling MS herself . All are devastated more than words could Express. Unfortunately they lost their main income as Dave was the sole provider. I am asking for any help to ensure the minor children's needs are being met until they can figure out the next plan in life. I truly appreciate any little bit of help.
